ABOUT ME: J. L. JAMES
Nature has been good for me. And I hope you find that nature is good for you too.
Growing up in inner London, U.K., I always appreciated the amazing city parks and gardens which cushioned the grey city landscape. Fast forward to my current home in the wilds of Canada, with its vast expanse and haunting landscapes.
My background is in journalism, anthropology, and community empowerment. As I developed a deeper connection to the wellspring of Nature, I expanded my training to include: Horticultural Therapy, Eco-Therapy, Shinrin Yoku, Plant Spirit Healing, and Hermetic Alchemy.
My travels have allowed me to experience many mutually beneficial ways of interacting with our natural world. In addition to this space, I share those experiences through internationally published articles.

Gratitude
I acknowledge the Territory of the Anishinabek Nation: The People of the Three Fires known as Ojibway, Odawa, and Pottawatomie Nations. And further give thanks to the Chippewas of Saugeen, and the Chippewas of Nawash, known collectively as the Saugeen Ojibway Nation, as the traditional keepers of this land, which is the sharer of knowledge for much of what you read here.
I acknowledge the multi dimensional aspect of nature and thank the spirit guardians for keeping watch.
